Ms. Fernandez focuses her practice on probate matters and conservatorships. Ms. Fernandez received her B.S. in Medical Technology from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center and is certified in that field by the American Society of Clinical Pathologists. She received her J.D. from the University of Mississippi where she received the American Jurisprudence Award for Contracts. Ms. Fernandez has 26 years of litigation experience and has been lead counsel or second chair in over twenty trials to jury verdict in the U.S. District Courts of Mississippi, Tennessee, and Arkansas, and in the Circuit Courts of Tennessee and Mississippi. She has written briefs to the Tennessee Court of Appeals, the Tennessee Supreme Court, the Mississippi Supreme Court, and to the Fifth and Sixth Circuit Courts of Appeals. She and her husband enjoy travel, cooking, and bicycling. In her spare time she handcrafts jewelry and is a member of and contributing artist to the DeSoto Arts Council.
